A new year, a new blog!

I'm officially attached to produce for my good friend, writer/director Rohit Chokhani and his writer/producer fiancee Ashley Rose, their Crazy8s Film Contest finalist, ARRANGED, a cross-cultural, comedic Romeo and Juliet. Rohit was associate producer on my short comedy AFTERNOON AT GUDRUN (2013), which made it into the 66th Cannes International Film Festival (SFC) and got distribution on iFlixTV.com. He's had his script ARRANGED since long before that, had been rewriting it, and even submitted it for consideration to the Crazy8s in the past -- so Im very happy he finally got this far. We haven't yet made it to the final 6 selection, but we are in the top 12 and are starting to feel the heat! Rohit, Ashley and I attended the Whistler Film Festival where we discussed the possibilities of the production, and drafted various creative and logistical options. The Crazy8s final selection will be announced to the public on the 12th of January, and we will find out if ARRANGED will get produced under their banner. Either way, we are determined to make it happen one way or another! :D Go Team!
